My daughters and I have been coming to see Annette at Salon at Westlake since we moved here three years ago. Between the three of us, our hair couldn't be more different - one very curly and thick, one stick straight and thin, and mine is thick and wavy, but Annette gives each of us an awesome cut every time. I like to change my hairstyle frequently, and she always has great ideas, and cuts my hair so styling is a breeze. Our color is always beautiful as well (my color to cover gray, which at times I do myself, and have NEVER been told one negative thing about doing a touch-up at home) and the atmosphere is friendly, relaxed and enjoyable. There is never any pressure to buy products, but when I ask for a product for a certain purpose, Annette is gives suggestions and an honest appraisal regarding the products she sells. I can't imagine anyone else doing my hair!
Love Annette!! She does a great haircut. I frequently get compliments on my haircut (even when I've not fussed with it -- just get up and go) and that's never happened before!
I read the first review, from Sept '09, and I am not sure where this reviewer received this poor service but it was not at the Salon at Westlake in the red building near the Jazzersice stuido. As the previous review stated, Annette is the only stylist in the salon so I am not sure who she would be competing against. Annette is a wonderful sylist and a sweet person. I have been seeing Annette for 2 years and would recommend her to anyone in the SML area that is looking for a sylist.
I am a very happy, satisfied customer of Salon at Westlake, and my experience is so totally different than Cheryl's, that I wonder if she's talking about the same establishment. First of all, Salon at Westlake has only one stylist, Annette, who is the owner/operator, and she is never rude to anyone. Quite the opposite, she is friendly, polite, and pleasant.
