Such an amazing gateway. Just found out about this place. The view is awesome, rooms are clean and tidy, the staff is super nice.

I desperately needed to get away and fish, have some peace and quiet from kids, husband, patients, life in general. Liz assured me that this was the exact place for me and if the guests she was expecting over the weekend became too loud, let her know and she would handle it. That didn't happen.....it wasn't an issue. I had plenty of places to fish and relax and regroup. This is really the perfect place to go alone, or with your hubby or wife or a friend. Stress free and beautiful. I only caught an angel fish, but I used it as bait☺️ I didn't have a boat and couldn't afford one, but they're available if you want one. Just be SURE to bring little things like a bottle/wine opener, paper napkins/plates and extra coffee/filters, etc, if you're a coffee drinker. The rooms aren't fancy, but very clean and comfy! Small microwave and mini fridge. Tv is big enough. Liz was amazing! She'll help any way she can....if she can. Kroger, CVS, ABC, and other stores are maybe 5 minutes away and some places deliver. If you're looking for a low maintenance, but gorgeous view, reasonably priced and friendly place to get away, this is it!!!

Lovely location, great docks that are fun for catching tiny bass or for swimming, and a fine place if you need a boat launch. The Landing Restaurant in Moneta nearby is nice for dinner and being out on the lake is beautiful but the motel itself isn't worth the money. We paid $135 on a weekday but the room wasn't clean or well-taken care of (spiderwebs in the bathroom, 4 of 5 light bulbs burned out, closet doors missing). It would have been fine for half that price but as it is you're really paying for lake access.

The owner is awesome to work with, SUPER friendly. Nice place, clean rooms! I go up to SML and always stay at west lake inn.. everything is so laid back. Always have a good time. You won t go wrong staying at west lake.

Nice location on one of the many points on the lake. The price for late season, early November, we're reasonable for the accommodations. The rooms were clean and had a good amount of space. The bath room was moderate in size. There is a boat dock right behind the Inn. Fishing is good just please be aware of and give way to the boats coming in and out. Best time is late at night when boat activities have slowed. Or just bring your own boat. They rent boats right there through the Inn. Prices are very reasonable compared to other lake resort areas I've stayed. The views are great. The peace and quiet during the off season is very relaxing. Compared to other accommodations in the area I would choose this one everytime. It was also recommended by a friend of mine who lives in the area, whom I we visiting. Great for a fishing get away.
